How Fast We Ship
We get it. When you place an order, you expect us to pack it up well. You expect us to get it out the door fast. That's exactly what we do. When you place an order Monday-Friday by 2 PM Pacific time (that's 5 PM Eastern!), it ships SAME-DAY. Even big companies named after South American rivers don't do that.
Where We Ship From
Our distribution center is in southern California and we have inventory in fulfillment centers across the nation. Based on your location and shipping method you choose, your order will ship from the fulfillment center closest to you that has inventory in stock.
Shipping & Delivery Schedules
Orders ship same business day (2 PM PT cutoff), otherwise next business day. Business days are Monday-Friday. Federal holidays (USA), Saturday and Sunday are non-shipping days and are not included in shipping days. Some carriers do deliver on Saturday and/or Sunday.
We Pay Shipping!
Orders shipping to U.S. contiguous 48 states will ship via economy ground from southern California using a courier of our choice (usually USPS, UPS, or FedEx). Delivery typically in two to five business days, depending on your location. Minimum purchase required.
Alaska / Hawaii / U.S. Territories/Armed Forces
Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. Territories including American Samoa, Federated States of Micronesia, Guam, Marshall Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Armed Forces Americas, and Armed Forces Europe will ship via the United States Postal Service or United Parcel Service from southern California. Please allow an additional 1-2 weeks for processing, customs formalities, and delivery. If your order is urgent, please contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate!
USPS Priority Mail
2-3 business days. Delivery by the end of the second or third business day after an order has shipped. For example, if an order is shipped out on Monday, it will arrive on Wednesday or Thursday. If the order is placed Monday night and ships out on Tuesday, it will arrive on Thursday or Friday. If an order is placed Wednesday night and ships out on Thursday, it will arrive on Saturday or Monday. Note that US Postal Service does not guarantee Priority Mail delivery time frame (2-3 business days is an estimate). For a guaranteed* delivery time frame, choose "Priority Express" shipping. USPS does deliver on Saturday.
USPS Priority Mail Express
1-2 business days. Delivery by the end of the first or second day after an order has shipped. An order that ships out on Thursday with USPS Priority Express delivery would be delivered on Friday or Saturday. An order shipping out on Friday with USPS Priority Express would arrive on Saturday or Monday.
United Parcel Service - UPS®
Shipping via UPS® is an option available during checkout. Take advantage of our discounted commercial rates with Ground, 3-Day, 2-Day, and Next-Day services.
Federal Express - FedEx®
Although shipping via FedEx® is not an option available during checkout (it's not an option in Shopify), we may ship via FedEx® in some circumstances (usually to get an item to the customer faster).
Order Cancellation/Shipping Changes
For order/shipping modification or cancellation, contact us as soon as possible. For obvious reasons, an order cannot be canceled or modified and shipping cannot be changed once it's been shipped - and WE SHIP FAST!
Items designated as hazardous (such as items with lithium-ion batteries) may be shipped ONLY via ground shipping and ONLY to the contiguous 48 US states as they cannot be shipped by air due to FAA regulations. Hazardous items will be clearly identified with appropriate labels on the shipping carton.
Signature Required For Some Deliveries
Packages will be delivered at your regular delivery time (unless you purchase an early delivery service) by the United States Postal Service (USPS) or United Parcel Service® (UPS®), or Federal Express® (FedEx®) and will require a signature only if the value exceeds $100.00. If you require signature service for lower value packages, please contact us prior to placing an order.
Back Orders & Restock Notifications
We accept back orders upon request. Out of stock items are marked as "Sold Out". If you would like to place a back order, let us know and we'll adjust inventory to allow the back order to be placed on our website. Alternatively, if you would like to be added to the restock notification list for a particular product, we're happy to notify you when it's back in stock.

*US Postal Service Priority Express guarantee means that you may be eligible for a postage or fee refund if USPS did not meet a guaranteed service commitment. In this case, we file a claim with USPS, and pass the refund back to you if/when USPS approves and issues the refund to us. This typically takes 3-6 weeks.
